Of all of my teams that are successful (I consider success getting to the NT every year), W CT St is always my anomoly. We always win a ton of games (we do play in a weak conf), including top ranked opponents in the OOC schedule; however, year-in, year-out, we always lose earlier than expected in the tourney. We can never get the run that we should. Maybe that is why they keep us low in the rankings - we are the choke artists in Wooden :)

The annual W. Conn versus Chicago game is tonight. Both teams are in the top 25. I am 1 up on taz in Wooden; however, he is probably 2 up on me in Crum. Should be another cl***ic battle.

I'd like to think that Chicago found their offense last night vs kybjones Manchester squad. However, I thought our offense was in perfect form when the season started, and we quickly lost track of it. In reality, about 80% or more of my points came from 3 kids last night. Gonna need more of a team effort if we want to get by W Conn St; don't think I can count on 3 kids averaging 20+ a night.

gg bugs. I was surprised to see you double McGlade. I was even more surprised to see him lead my team in shot attempts besides the double team and being like the 3rd or 4th option last night.

just thought I would join in the misery list here of "coaches recently beaten by chicago"... we actually held on better than i expected to, only to lose on a last-second 3. oh well. get manchester tonight.

I like that nick name for them. I've started to refer to them at Run A(rguetta)M(cGlade)C(olismo)I'm still debating whether to put Grant into the starting lineup for the postseason over McGlade like I did last season. So far, McGlade is vastly out performing 5th year senior Grant, so I won't have a decision to make. Can't be many kids in D3 that can match McGlade's 80+ speed, hower Grant is fairly fast himself, and that 5th year senior IQ would be a tough matchup as well.

They've been struggling lately, at least the squad. 3 straight losses, and a 4th poor offensive peformance in a big win over Brandeis. To be fair, all 4 opponents were solid to national title contenders, so its not quite as bad as it sounds.
Might have to switch it to run AGC as McGlade has been struggling a bit, while Grant has finally found the switch and has been tearing things up a bit, getting 2 starts in the last 4. I think Grant moves into the starting lineup for the postseason, while McGlade is the gunner off the bench.
I don't know, I've still got a couple of tweaks I think I'd like to make w/ my lineup when the time is right.
