no problem-- i enjoy doing it... just wish I could get Hartwick further up the list.
for those of you who are new to this thread, I will save you the h***le of going back to the beginning to find out the rules. the basics:
1) the list includes results for the 10 most recent seasons completed in Wooden D-III.
2) to be eligible for the list, you must have made some form of postseason (NT or PIT) in 4 of the last 5 seasons.
3) the further you go in the tourney(s), the more points you get. regular season success means nothing here (except that you made the tourney). A PIT championship counts the same as a first-round NT loss.
4) recent success counts more than older success. Hence, teams like NC Wesleyan, with two or three really good seasons in a row, can move up fast, while someone with a National Championship 5 seasons ago but 2 PIs the last 2 seasons will drop back pretty quickly. Also, the tiebreaker is more recent success.
5) don't knock Anderson off the top of the list, or Camrun gets mad and goes on a tear like this:

CT Champion

i'm playing 7 of the top 23 in my non-conference. I might be in trouble.

I am not sure how many of the top 25 I am playing, but the ones that I know I am playing 5 of the top 12. Should be an interesting season. I lose 3 strong seniors, but bring back a study SG in McKethan (already rated 704) and had a sweet cl*** of 5 freshman that played this past season. WCTSt may yaper off a little next year, but we will be back in the title hunt in a season or two.

Wonder what that 704 kid is going to get up to, 760+? Guess it depends on how the offseason goes, I'd expect him to gain at least 20, perhaps more w/ that 85 WE.
Too bad he's going to be sucking wind when my SG continually runs around him next season :0)

rule #5 is very important.

I like rule #5 very much. Thanks again for keeping this up.

It is my mission to keep "Conf Champion" off of Anderson's list of achievements each season. I'm the only one to do it in the past 17 seasons in the Heartland North (Season 23). I will try again next season but I might as well end up going to my grave trying.

This thread is great. Hopefully I can have a few more good seasons to join the list!! Thanks wronoj!!

norm you are well on your way-- 2 straight postseasons and a good returning squad for next year. good luck.

hey wronoj - does your formula just take into account NT performance or is wins, SOS, RPI, ranking in there? i don't care either way - i am just curious

I'm really excited to make the list. I expect my team to be very good each of the next two years.

I signed 3 very nice players before the drop downs hit. I am not sure if they will land in the top 25, but I sure like having that nice prestige rating. The two big guys almost fell in my lap and they weren't even there on the first day of recruiting.
