Formattting: On normal sized screens and phones, we cannot see both category bar of recruit pool page and all recruits when searching--some recruits will be cut off and not able to see category bar while looking at all players. Put category bar after 18-20 players, not 25. Add category bar to the bottom of screen as well (right above calculate cost button)

Define the physical/offense/defense grid a bit more--make the spreadsheet have bold lines between the DU and LP ratings, the P and REB ratings and the BLK and WE ratings. Those are the category breaks for physical/offense and defense.

Make default when searching pool of recruits ANY division, not a specific division. Page should open up to all recruits discovered.

This post has a rating of , which is below the default threshold.
Graphics:
Would prefer the players' names, and the teams' names in the Standings, to match the same font and boldness of the current old non-Beta game graphics. The Beta-game fonts in these two areas are close, but too light in my opinion.

Create a group of non-conference tourneys that teams can apply for and enter. Either a 4 team round robin or an 8 team bracketed tourney if possible (in either case, it would be a 3 game set-up). Each tourney would have a certain prestige minimum maybe, and would provide a prestige boost. Owners could get an email from a tourney, saying that they qualify... or they could apply and the tourney could decide by a certain date depending on the other schools who applied... remember though, each tourney can only have 1 team from any conference. Also, any tourney that doesn't fill would have a Sim placed in it of a prestige that fits the particular tourney as much as possible.

I'll design it here, and then if this goes forward at some point, this can act as a template:

Very simple:

tourneys have 4 teams each, round robin:
8 tourneys in all.
neutral court games if possible.

These are played in Gameslots #2, 3, and 4:
Maui Classic - requires B- prestige or better.
Battle 4 Atlantis - requires B- or better.
Coaches v Cancer - requires C- prestige or better.
Gavitt Games - requires 1 Big East team and 1 Big Ten team, plus 2 others at any prestige.
Paradise Jam - open to any prestige.
Great Alaska Shootout - open to any prestige.

These are played in Gameslots #6, #7, and #8:
Cable Car Classic - requires a WCC school and 3 others at any prestige.
Diamond Head Classic - open to any prestige.

So 32 team slots.
prestige slots:
8 at B- or better.
4 at C- or better.
1 Big East needed.
1 Big Ten needed.
1 WCC needed.
17 can be applied to at any prestige, but the higher the prestige, the more likely you'll be accepted.

If this ends up being popular, we can expand the amount of tourneys.

Div-2 and Div-3 would also have a series of tourneys under the same gameslots, names and prestige requirements.

Early season tourneys would be awesome.

This maybe hard to do but it was in the old system and I found it very beneficial. Can we allow us to remove/cancel recruiting actions once again please? I know I have done this a lot in the past with the old system. Sometimes you react to what has happened at the cycle processing time, and once you have time to think about your actions or look around at other possibilities or options you change your mind. Currently, we do not have the option to change our mind in between cycles and go in a different direction. If we stay at 6 hour cycles, which I am unsure we should keep at the moment; that gives us a lot of time to think about different courses of action or strategies. If we could once again be allowed to withdraw recruiting actions, we could go in different directions and have more options that are currently unavailable to us.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before and I'm not reading 24 pages of posts...I would personally like to be able to see recruits considering a particular school like in the old recruiting. It is very useful to know how many recruits a coach is pursuing and how many battles he is in when you are considering whether to battle for a recruit. I don't see any reason to make it hard to find that information. IRL everybody knows who is recruiting who.

It has been mentioned before, kobo. But you don't see players unless you do the work to discover them. You can't just see them on another school's considering list. That would be a back door that no one wants.

Yes, I suggested it during the first season and I think it'd be better to see them. The way around the discovery thing is pretty damn simple. You can see the guys name but you can't click on his name to view his profile. Or if you can view his profile you can't view his ratings and there are no recruiting actions (so you basically just see his projected division and location). Something like that. It's basically the same thing after a guy signs with another team and you can view them.

Once again, I suggest that you allow for the conversion of some"scouting cash" to "recruiting cash". D3 recruiting cash is now a joke with the players putting up resistance to signing.

Have you lost a battle already and spent all your money?

The way things are set up now, if you can't click on their portrait and can only see the name/location, showing how many recruits any team is pursuing isn't useful anymore. Essentially if you spend even a single AP point on anyone, he'd appear on that list. It would be similar in today's game if everyone did scatter gun and sent a schollie/start to dozens of recruits but you couldn't click on their portraits to see if they're in a serious battle.

You can't use how many recruits anyone is recruiting as a good indicator if you should fight for recruits anymore and even if you could it would close to impossible to figure out how much of their recruiting cash they are spending in any given fight since its all relative now (no FSS, VH could be just AP + schollie, etc.)

Well imagine if you did have some of those players already discovered. Then you could see what battling is going out. And yeah you don't know everything but you can speculate.

can we make ineligible status a little more prominent on player card - and restore the indicator the home recruiting screen that identifies them as nonqualifiers during scouting? in classic HD, during scouting if you flagged a nonqualfier there would be a red statement "has not met NCAA eligibility" on your recruit watch list during scouting

the indication of ineligibility in the beta is rather subtle

I'm not saying that I didnt want the kid I signed who I didnt realize was a nonqualifier, but I would have thought twice......
