breum, i just now saw you coach northwestern in naismith. planning on staying there a while? i just took over nc state last season-- what do you say to future challenges between 2 sim-destroyed programs? I think I am already booked up for next season, but am not totally sure...

Tough go of things early. Won the first two over Nichols (my old school who always seems to play me tough regardless of talent level) and Franklin. Then barjaz showed me that I still have a long way to go by bringing his E. Oregon team in and destroying me. Lost a couple tough ones to Beloit and Cazenovia (both ranked and unbeaten). And then I just got blown out at home again by wronoj's Hartwick team.

BTW, since I don't know where else to put it... GG wronoj. I was right there with you into the 2nd half. Next thing I knew, you were up 20. I guess that's more proof that I still have a way to go before I reach that next level.

kreller, that team schedule of yours is just a little too tough... I am in the same conference as barjaz and look forward to getting destroyed by him as well... it is nice that I have had a lot of luck in my first season in going 7-0 so far. Hopefully I can keep the smoke and mirrors rolling along and pick up some tough conference victories to go along with my easier OOC schedule.

yeah, GG kreller-- your schedule is a killer so far, and doesn't appear to be giving you any breaks in the noncon. I think you can win enough conference games to get into the postseason, though... GL.

works for me...my RPI is somehow in the 100s so far, but there's no way it stays there. My first year I was too aggressive in recruiting and landed only backups with barely any money , so it will take me awhile to resurrect it. I'll schedule whoever will take me. Challenge me if you got a slot.

yeah, i checked and am full next season. will try to remember to do it for the following season. My problem is that I cannot compete with all the other awesome teams in the ACC without 8-10 5-star recruits. I have maybe 3. One ACC-level player per position is not going to get it done anytime soon. Hope I can get it turned around before I get fired.

I knew I'd have a tough schedule, but didn't expect it to be top 3 tough. And my team has seemingly gone in the tank right now. Hard time making shots. Hard time stopping shots. Hard time rebounding. Hard times. Hopefully it all turns around come conference play. I'd hate for the one team I've always been able to have success with become just another team.

thanks breum. We've dropped a couple of close ones, its nice to pull one out vs your squad. I may have scheduled too tough w/ as tough as my conference run is going to be.

i think i am about to see the end of my consecutive season NT run...my team just stinks this year...can't shoot, can't defend, turn the ball over...don't know what happened...they should at least play competitive...and at home i stink even worse

jj, aren't your teams notoriously slow starters? I looked at your schedule, and your RPI is going to get better pretty quickly once conference play starts-- all your noncon opponents were pretty good...

No worries JJ, my team is stinking it up right now too. I think you'll safely win our side of the conference. I just hope we can keep up with the other half of the conference now that con play is starting.
