I think even with a few examples there would be plenty to figure out. We'll always have really ambigous ratings like the stamina, health, and durabilty ones pointed out above.

And as a Reds fan, I'd have to reluctantly agree about Pujols' 99's across the board. Except for health and durabilty (I think).

well he wouldn't be a 99 in speed neither, I just meant the hitting cats. he's by far the best hitter in this galaxy.

In the player profiles, what do the various picture icons (green cross, player) below the "Notes" button mean?
6/10/2006 6:22 AM
if you click on the player and go to chat and hit the little clipboard on the dialog box, the player's name comes up so you can click on the player and his profile will come up.

Sorry for the confusing explanation.

Same trainer as Grimsley too.

does a 0 temper mean he is mild or gets angry as hell?

6/10/2006 7:22 AM
He's not very happy.
6/10/2006 7:28 AM
No spark at all.
6/10/2006 7:30 AM
that is 2 diffrent answers.
let me rephrase it. do you want a high temper rating or low temper rating? i figure high temper to just be in line with everything else, i just want to confirm it. i have a pretty good player with a 0 temper.

thanks for responses in advance.

a 0 temper is laid back. A high temper is high strung. Personally, I prefer a high temper so my batters charge the mound when they get hit w/ a pitch.

get your crappy players with a high temper so they charge the mound and get the other teams pitcher suspended.

Another arbitration question...
I've got a pitcher up for arbitration, asking 4.7 mil. I just got a trade accepted for him, prior to any arbitration decision. What's stopping me from going to arbitration and offering something like 10 mil and really screwing the guy over that has already accepted the trade?
I AM NOT PLANNING ON DOING THAT, by the way. Just wondering if that could be a loophole.
6/10/2006 10:34 AM
Nothing. Never trade for a guy who doesn't have a contract. Don't claim him off waivers either. Unless you're prepared to eat a contract that you have no idea about.
6/10/2006 10:40 AM
you could.

Is it a nice thing to do..no.
Is it smart as a GM to go offer 10 mil..........
In other words, would you do it?
