*This isn't a biggie but u don't have the 30 minutes promise of playing time.

*Just curious what u think about cutting early entries. (If other coaches agree) ----- I know this will be different than real life but this will help solve the current EE issue. I am pretty sure we won't have late talent available that will be good enough to replace loss unexpected EEs to NBA..............

* Is it possible to add more talent during recruiting period 2. This will help with EE issue also

Added a thread on changing main font to Roboto as it is in HD Classic, as opposed to thevfont named Open Sans as is is in the new HD Beta.

On the Recruit Pool search page, the list of attributes in the filter and order drop down boxes are in a really weird order that isn't like anywhere else in HD. (Athleticism, Ball Handling, Defense, Rebounding, Durability, Stamina, Speed, Shot Blocking, Passing, Perimeter, LowPost, Work Ethic; the order drop down includes Overall Rating, Position, Overall Rank at the top and Category, Distance at the bottom.)

I recommend changing it to either the same order as the Recruit Pool search results (A, SPD, ST, DU, LP, PE, BH, P, REB, DE, BLK, WE) or the order they are listed on the player card (A, SPD, REB, DE, BLK, LP, PE, BH, P, WE, ST, DU, FT, TOT).

Here's a thought, it isn't well thought out and I am not sure if it is feasible.....

The major problem with problem with level that people have (and I am making a big assumption) is that the level one information is misleading and not useful. What if (see what I did there?) the level one scout only had the letter grades for the two highest attributes (minus DUR, WE and STA) when maxed out? That way you had some useful information to make a decision with. Need a PG? Look for the guys with high speed and pass! Want a low post scorer? Look for ATH and LP.

Just a thought.

On the Player Roles page, there is no "Total" column or percentage weight calculation, even when you press Edit. I understand that the weights are relative to each other and do not have to add up to 100, but it's nice to be able to at least see the percentage weight for each attribute (and adding up to an even 100 makes that easy, of course).

I don't know if anybody has asked this (ans I am not going to read all of the previous posts to find out) but why is there such a long time for just scouting without recruiting actions? It makes no sense to me at all. The recruiting actions should open up as soon as the scouting actions...that would leave it up to the individual coach to decide when to use visits, etc. Also I think that seble should either greatly reduce the maximum number of home visits per recruit or increase the size of the recruiting budget. These are suggestions for Div 1.

I still think maybe the easiest solution to fix level 1, and one that would please everyone is the following. It gives those who want to have the old game the option to keep it, at least in terms of scouting. If you read the forums in the regular world, a lot of coaches have talked about how they feel like the scouting process takes more time than they have available, and this would solve that issue, and help retain users. Those who have a system they like with the Beta now, could keep it the way it is now.

Keep the budgets and levels the same. Keep the camps and all other recruiting features you have now. I don't think you'd need to change the costs you have now.

Create a second scouting service and call it FSS2. The cost is $50 per recruit instead of $10 per recruit. When a player uses FSS2 instead of FSS, all players are scouted to Level 2.

Create a 3rd level of scouting called FSS3 - This one costs $100 per recruit. This gets every player to level 3

Create a 4th level of scouting called FSS4 - This one costs $200 per recruit. This gets every recruit to level 4. A coach can make one click and be done with scouting if they wish to invest their budget in that way.

The names are easy to figure out because the number shows the level you will get.

I am at Dartmouth, and my ideal scouting area is the northeast, going as far south as PA. There are 130 recruits in my area.
So, to scout my area, the costs are:
Level 1 - $1300
Level 2- $6500
Level 3 - $13,000
Level 4 - $26,000

You could use a combination of them if you want to. But, I think that if you have already paid to scout at level 2, the cost to scout at level 3 should still be $100 per recruit. even if you have already spent the $50 to get them to level 2.

With this system, those who just don't feel like they have time to invest in all of the discovery process have a simple solution, where they can have their entire recruit pool in like 1 minute.

Those at D3 would not be able to scout a huge area, but could still get the info for the states in their immediate area.

Those who want to do more of a distance recruiting could scout the whole country to level 1 for $8520, then use other methods to get to higher levels.

It would be impossible to scout the whole country to level 3 or 4 like this - the cost would be $85,200 or $170,400. Even level 2 for the whole country would be $42,600. But you could scout your whole prime recruiting area to level 4 this way.

This would also be a simple way for new players to get the information they need to make informed decisions.

Couple of minor things:

1. When i click on Recruiting, the Target Pool, initially the page shows no players. If i then scroll down and click Search, then my scouted players appear. Would it be better if those players appeared at the first point when we click "Target Pool"?

2. Once those players are shown, the categories are sectioned into Physical, Offense and Defense. Would it be better for the Offense (4 items of LP, Per, BH and Pass) and Defense (3 items of Reb, Def and Block) be swapped in the table, because we're used to seeing them in that order on the player cards and team cards? So in order, it could read: "Ath, Spd, Stam, Dur... Reb, Def, Block... LP, Per, BH, Pass"...
