Just realized I've got the squad that knocked the mighty bugs our of their CT. Any team good enough to beat W Conn St is good enough to beat us. We'll see if we can't limit their 3 pointers.

can't complain about my seed at all - but you could make a case that winning your CT has been given too much emphasis...not quite sure i deserved that high of an overall seed...

Neither did I...

Two seasons in a row that we did not win the CT - that is not good considering how weak the Little East has been since I arrived. You have to love the 4 teams in our bracket to earn a spot to the Sweet 16.Game 1 - Hartwick vs NeumannGame 2 - Oberlin vs W CT StAny of the 4 could easily go on to win the upper half of the bracket. Should be a good couple of games.Hopefully the bugs can do a better job tonight than we have this season.

well my team made it to the 2nd round only to draw #4 SUNYM and if by some miracle I can beat them then I would have to face the winner of the #23 Hartwick vs #10 Oberlin game. this seems to be a real tough road but glad I'm just here.

What a joke. Has anyone ever seen that happen? Seriously? A #16? I'm in complete shock right now. I knew my team wasn't #1 seed material, but COME ON. That was the worst RPI team to make the NT.

I went +3 on Oberlin and committed 34 fouls, which led to 55 FTA by my opponent. Ironically, I still outrebounded him 39-35. Not too happy with this loss. GL to everyone.

I lost as a 2 seed. Apparently a lot of upsets last night. Ridiculous...

Unfortunetly, #16 seeds upset #1 sees far more often in HD than they do in real life. Of course #16 seeds are much closer in talent to #1 seeds in HD than they are in real life. Happy to have survived the upset bug, after a brief blip at the end of conference play, Chicago seems to be firing on all cylinders again. Keep up this level of play and we'll be tough to knock out.

after looking at both teams you were fairly matched and it was a coin flip as to who would win. Also you got to remember that in the NT some players just seem to step it up and play better then they do in conference play.

I wouldn't say that we were fairly matched at all. I was rated 41 points higher than him overall, and his team durability was 19 higher than mine. Iwas higher than him in every category, including 8 in rebounding, 8 in defense, 6 in perimeter, 12 in bh, and 9 in p***ing. That doesn't sound like a coin flip to me.But I will agree with you on the fact that certain players (or teams) have fluky games were they play better than their numbers.

fhook you have to break it down to mins played by what player, overall ratings don't really mean much. I made a spreadsheet where I can take the stats and give you what each players avgs. per min at each position and there it came up a coin flip. take my game tonight against SUNYM even though hes 2 points overall better then me, his starters are better then mine but my bench is better then his, in my spreadsheet I am a 10 point dog but my team always seems to play above their heads in the NT, so we will see how it turns out.

very disappointing early round loss with the overall #1 seed Arcadia...i thought that team was going to do some damage...once again, a pressing team simply confused my offense...George Fox has a decent team but i felt i had a better team in terms of speed, shooting and rebounding...in the end, he got hot from the floor and i was ice cold...seems to be the recurring theme for me when i lose early in the NT ...looking back, i don't think i would have changed my gameplan much...my bigs too more shots (and shot poorly) then i had planned and i didn't do any real damage from deep...ah well...

back to the drawing board...

good luck to those still alive...

With Arcadia & Anderson both falling in round 2, the door is now open for Chicago to jump into the #1 dynasty spot. Won a rematch last night and was rewarded with another rematch from my season opener tonight. Thanks to some upsets, we remain the highest seed in our half of the bracket going forward to the NT finals. Their is another 3 seed in the East, but everyone else pulled some "upsets" to get there. Hopefully we can avoid one of those upsets and get to the finals. There are a ton of great teams in the other half of the bracket, it would be nice to get the chance to face off vs one of them.Lets go Maroons
