question for the pros
when setting your depth charts, for the o-line, d-line and even l-backers and db's should you list the players according to their ratings? Or for example 1="" tackle 2="" guard 3="center" 4="right" guard 5="right" tackle? D-line same way? I have always wondered about this and wondered if it applies and if placing people in certain place on the depth chart places them at different spots within? Please do tell.

The OL and DL are measured as a unit. Positioning does not matter.

If a recruit is considering more than one person, does he make his decision as soon as signing starts or can the coaches continue to battle for him even after signings have begun until he's considering only one?

taint try not to battle for a recruit until you can build up a little war chest to do it with. In DIII you just dont have enough money to waste there. Look hard there is another player undecided who is probably just as good

in pro-set, how many from each position starts? 1 qb, 5 ol, 1 te, 2 rb, 2 wr? or is that incorrect?

What's a good recruiting cl*** for D-3, I filled my 16 scholarships with guys rated from 407-433. I have 2 with 430+, 6 in the 420's, 7 in the 410's, and 1 at 407.

Can a guy's work ethic make up for some downfalls of a recruit?

Why can I not win a playoff game?

That is a tough one. I would be concerned if you don't win one with this team though...

In any given game, the answer is no. WE will not compensate for shortcomings in other categories within a game. What high(er) WE will do is make your players' attributes grow faster than a low WE player, all other things being equal (potential from scouting report, practice time, starts, etc). So, if you recruit a player that's not quite as good as another *right now*, but he has a much higher WE (and let's ***ume their potential is the same), the higher WE guy could end up as the better player down the road, depending on how much ground he had to make up.

I knew during a game wouldn't matter, but the second part of your answer answered it for me.
