(1) Yes. (2) None whatsoever. A face-to-face is the minimum requirement. (3) Before or on the same cycle. (4) Small benefit, but no one knows how small or large.

sluggo, you should be able to sign an undecided guy for an AC scouting trip and a scholarship offer on the final day of signings. Sometimes it takes additional recruiting effort (like an extra HC scouting trip or something) but not usually. But it always requires at least an AC scouting trip.

Does anyone know if recruiting dollars carry over from season to season. I may have targeted too low, but somehow I've managed to wind up with only 1 scholarship offer after having signed 13 guys I wanted, but I have well over $15,000 in recruiting money.

With my last scholarship I am contemplating going after one huge stud with however much money it would cost, or saving most of it if it carries over to next season.

Thanks in advance for whomever has an answer to this ...

In GD it carries over, but you must fill all your schollies for that to be the case.

So, if I spend X dollars to recruit my last scholarship player, and then sign him ... I'll have a jump-start of whatever is $$$$ beginning next season? Is this just a lucky break, or did I really goof something up?

Some coaches believe in spending it, some in saving it for a future season. Sooner or later only spending it lands the recruits.

How often do I get responses from my recruits? I'm ***uming ever three hours? I dunno if I can keep up! does it make a difference if I miss one of these 3 hour sessions?

It is every 3 hours. Some people don't have access while at work, some people sleep through cycles, and still have very good teams. Some don't even start on the 1st cycle

[1] Yes. Cycles begin at 2:30, 5:30, 8:30 and 11:30 Eastern time. Results may take 30 to 45 minutes or more.[2] You'll survive. You can plan your way around it.

Is it a good idea to use all 180 minutes alloted? Or do players start to complain about not having enough free time. Only reason I ask is that I'm at a unsuccessful D111 school, so it doesn't have quite the prestige factor working for me.

Use all your practice time. Players will not complain and your team will perform more efficiently due to team practice plus your players attributes will improve due to individual practice. The only thing you accomplish by not using your practice time is hindering the development of your team and players. If you do not practice at all, they will lose attribute points or lose talent.

Does anybody know how to use a medical redshirt. Lost a player for 16 days in the 2nd game of the year. Thought I read somewhere that there are medical redshirts. I do have three kid redshirting already. Just like to know.

If the player qualifies for a medical redshirt and it sounds like he does, so long as he does not become available to play for your team's last game regular season or playoffs, WIS will automatically grant medical redshirts
