I know it's probably too late, but making team rosters and prestige similar to how they are now would be great. All these rosters are crap and some prestiges are really funky, like C+ Kansas and A- Loyola Marymount. We know its really not going to be the case so it would be nice to just start off with waht schools are normally at like Kansas A+ and Marymount D+/C- while recruiting is the big focus we still want to see more accurate results of Kansas at an A+ and not starting from these terrible ratings.

I would actually like to see everybody have the same number of open scholarships.

thats not realistic though its never going to happen so why put it in, the beta should be as close to what we are working with right now so that we can see the impact the recruiting update has on the game.

Same number of scholarships/wacky prestiges/bad player ratings does nothing but make it take longer to see how the update will work out.

It will be good to see if a small school with a high prestige like that can maintain it. So I say it's good for the test environment.

I'm with only. In HD, Loyola is never going to get to A- in the first place, while Kansas will never drop to C+. Lets make this as realistic as possible.

I'm planning on taking New Orleans which is B but I believe D baseline so I'll be testing that out, I've been able to build multiple D programs into B programs but never got farther or stayed long enough to see if I could get any farther.

I'm hoping someone like dsrnell takes it as he's really one of the only people with the experience to see how it works

i dont see the problem. when real worlds run, sims are running these teams, and some, they run into the ground. apparently seble tweaked how prestige worked - so this IS realistic - for what a new world would be like. i think its fine.

i think this assumption is based on how things worked in the old version, and carries no water in the new version, whatever that may be.

The thing is though we are starting a new world only updating the current worlds and in no world is there prestiges like this.

We shouldn't be wasting time waiting for prestiges to balance to what they are now. otherwise those midwest schools are going to get a lot of false confidence recruitig around a C+ Kansas.

but it might look like this with the new ultra-floaty prestige model?

wait, we're getting a prestige tweak? I thought this was recruiting only.

yeah, I honestly didn't look into them too closely, but I guess they don't. but that'd be an odd thing to drop into a recruiting change. unless the beta is running with an outdated prestige model. I wasn't here in the beginning, so I don't know whether the data fits an older model

it doesnt, but seble specifically talked about the possibility of changing things like prestige and bonus money to level the field, so i would not be at all surprised if it was included.
