Is there a way to put the overall schedule on the main page again? I like the current format where I can see all the dates of jobs, conference, post season, recruiting, signing, on a line/continuum like we currently see on the main office page.....

please add a pinned topic "changes" so we have an idea of what changes have happened. Its hard to keep up with all the posts on here everyday and also people may not noticing things that may have been changed within the game. Thanks.

seble, On the "Recruit Pool" Screen, one of two things needs to be done to help smart phone users and to keep this user functions (keeps us from going back and forth between history and pool).

A) Add above the list of States the term "Scouted" that will allow you to see all the States listed in your History (yes just like the old game).

B) Boldface States in List you have a history in.

So far I think the changes will be an overall improvement and make the game a little more exciting. Here are my points (From DII perspective)
1: Scouting - Most of the problems here was with the displays and searches. Being able to search for appropriate level recruits and then being able to display only certain recruits without sifting through all undesired recruits will be the most beneficial advance.
2: Recruiting - The recruiting process is improved with the attention points and their distribution. Unlocking CV and HV are a good advancement, but perhaps they need to be unlocked at different times. I think CV were unlocked too soon. CV should be unlocked at about the halfway point of a recruits signing threshold and then limited to 5 teams as they are now. On the recruits preference page, there should appear a number which represents the value of each attention point for that recruit for your team. This would indicate the recruits feeling of how good a match he is for your school and whether your attention points are discounted or get a boost based on the matches of his preferences.
3: Signing - Levels of interest should be modified so that the recruit advances through all levels before getting to 'very high'. Other teams would be able to see how they stack with each other towards signing. This would also keep poaching reduced. Lower recruits would have a lower signing threshold and reach 'very high' sooner. Top recruits would have a higher threshold and maybe reach only 'moderate' after the first signing period and then be available for the second period with all teams interested starting at the same level. Levels would be passed based on effort and attention point values + perks. It may make the process of trying to figure out where to put recruiting money as the schools under 'considering' for the recruit would more accurately reflect their standing with the recruit and would not rapidly fluctuate depending on effort by other schools.

The update still needs some refining, but will improve the game. Being able to find a top player at DIII is a great incentive, but if players sign later and later in the process depending on their ability, it may be more difficult. After all in the first beta run only 1 starred player signed with any team below D1. Most likely, DIII coaches will be lucky to sign B players in a normal world, but having the chance is a fun feature at lower levels. At my level in DII in the current game, it was frustrating not to be able to even see players other schools are signing. Now I can see them and at least I can have have a chance to get them, even if their prestige gives them an advantage.

I look forward to season two of the beta and see if things run more smoothly.

Well said!
Having the ability to sign recruits above your own division is a good thing. However, regardless of their programmed "tendency" to sign at a certain time, no recruit should panic and sign below their level during recruting period 1...and D1 recruits shouldn't accept a D3 spot until VERY late in the process!

Not sure if bug or suggestion, but under the old system, I wouldn't be charged FSS for guys who have already signed. Now, if I were to scout CA, I'd get charged for the 50+ guys who have already signed. It seems like it would make sense that I could purchase CA FSS at this point for cheaper, no?

I like having smaller D1 schools and mid majors able to raise prestige at the same rate as the big 6 schools. I think the floors can be different from conference to conference but the ceilings can be the the same.

I am sure I am not the only one who has avoided D1 because of this disparity. At D2 and D3 you have a fighting chance no matter who you are. At D1 that is not the case.

I also like the idea of being able to share game results via social media with friends.

Also like to add I think seble is doing a good job on this challenging task. It can't be easy

I would love to be able to check boxes for multiple FSS states like the current functionality so I only have to click submit once. Takes forever to do multiple states the current way.

I have a suggestion for the regional camps. I know it's kind of a cool feature to have them staggered at different dates, but what would be wrong with being able to go ahead and go to the camps immediately. For me, my goal is to get the information I need for scouting as soon as possible. Right now I have time, and wanted to try to pick out my recruiting targets. But, I want to go to the NY camp, so I can't finish my scouting yet. I still like the idea of the regional camps a lot, but do we really need to put a date on them? Why could people not go to them whenever they want, within a certain time frame? If I could go to those camps tonight, I would have all of my scouting done tonight.

It may be helpful to open up exhibition scheduling during the job period. Before beta, we had the entire recruiting period to schedule exhibition games but now we only have about twenty hours. I see a bunch of schools who do not schedule a first exhibition game. It doesn't really matter who you play in an exhibition game, it just matters that your team does play to get an extra day of practice.

On the target page, it would be nice to see the offense and defense, once it has been unlocked. I am writing this in my notes. Also would love to see distance and player ranking like we have in the current version. Would really like to see preferences, once unlocked, but not sure how that would all fit. I am writing these in my notes for each target.

I agree with this and I would also like to do it with scheduling. Be able to send out 3 or 4 invites at any given time. Would make scheduling a lot easier.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but it would be very nice to have the name of the state scouted indicated next to the "scouting service" tag on the Scouting service history page. For example on the history page it says line after line:

6/18 8:55am scouting service cost scouted recruits.

Somewhere on there it would be great to list the state name. Scouting service - Ohio (for example). It is really annoying to not know which state it is. For organizational purposes it would save lots of time and effort with a simple name by the line item.

“There would be a limit of one Home Visit per hour, in real time. Or one HV per cycle.”
Anyone with a life or a job will get killed by this. Thumbs down.

“… D1 recruits shouldn't accept a D3 spot until VERY late in the process!”
If seble wants only D1 schools in his game, this is a good idea. But I think D2 and D3 schools should have a fair shake.

“I like having smaller D1 schools and mid majors able to raise prestige at the same rate as the big 6 schools. I think the floors can be different from conference to conference but the ceilings can be the the same.”
I hadn’t seen that before. That is a highly interesting idea.

“ …able to check boxes for multiple FSS states …” Excellent time-saver.
