Question about pitcher's stamina:
Can a pitcher with, say, a 62 stamina pitch in a 5 man rotation with a reasonable pitch count setting (around 100 pitches or so)?
If not, what is the minimum stamina a pitcher would need?
I'm thinking I'd like to see him back to 100% when his turn comes around.
Thanks for any help.

I advise everyone to use 70+ as their guideline. The 62 might make it if he has good control and you lower his PC to 80ish.
I wouldn't try it but it might work.

Next question. What is prospect payroll,I know it should be self explanitory. The reason I ask is you have the option of allocating 0-20million$.If you even have the option of selecting 0,then how important could it be?If someone could just define what it is,thanks

When the draft rolls around, you'll need that to sign HS/College/Int'l players.

it's just the bonus money (which is important). most will require 8k in salary, but that somes from the player payroll. some will require more (one team of mine came with 350k minor-leaguers).

oilersfan, i was rooting for buffalo + anyone from up north after the rangers were embar***ed. i'd like to see weight get his name on the cup, but i'd rather see it return to canada.

and the Ranger$ were embar***ed by who????????????

Does your international player signings come out of your player payroll or your prospect payroll?
And how are the international players? Studs? Middle of the pack? Bums?
Thanks for any help

I am a day away from arbitration and both of my catchers have filed for arb. Both look like decent RH platoon guys and have virtually identical ratings, except for the following:
Catcher A is 1 against RH pitchers with 31 eye and 36 speed.
Catcher B is 24 against RH pitchers with 81 eye and 0 (yes, zero) speed.
I'd like to keep one of them and pick up a platoon mate from free agency. Is zero speed so incredibly slow that B would be terrible offensively? A's demands are cheaper ($1.2mil vs 1.6mil). Both are very high (87/96) at handling pitchers. Which one should I release?
6/16/2006 8:33 PM
I wouldn't release any, but I would waive Catcher A.
6/16/2006 9:01 PM
I don't think I'm allowed to waive either of them before arbitration and I don't want to carry two vets making over a million if neither can hit RH pitching.

Injury question...

My player got hurt and the title of the email says "out up to 4 weeks."

But then inside the email it says he should only be out for about 3 HBD days. Why the huge difference?

Will he most likely by less than "100" for the next 4 weeks?
6/16/2006 11:40 PM
tbone, it probably means that he has excellent makeup and that you have a great medical staff.
