My RPI smokes both of your RPIs. I believe it's about time to hit the panic button in Eureka. My team can't even beat a 7th grade girls team right now.

Injuries are doing me in, never have I had to players with major injuries at the same time, It will be interesting if I can recover from this and still make the NT (without wining the CT), may have to win every conference game to do it but even then that may be a strecth. what a difference 1 season makes.

lost a heartbreaker to killbatman the other night, 110-107 in OT. ouch.

Well, the bugs finished their OOC schedule witha 3-7 mark. The worst start since I began my career at W CT St back in Season 13. Our RPI was over 150, which is a number we have not seen since season 17. We opened conference play with a loss to S. Maine, which has been inproving quite a bit over the past couple of seasons. The good news is we got a road win last night and our RPI jumped almost 50 points. It doesn't hurt that my SOS is currently at 8 and 8 of my 10 OOC foes all have winning records and should continue to win pretty easily.Currently sitting at 4-8, 110, 8

GL bugs we both need to put together a long strecth of winning games, its amazing how much things can change in 1 season thought I would still be pretty good but with a Fr. starting PG also knew it would be rough sometimes, hopefully he can get it together by CT time.

I had the same problem with my FR PG with my Indiana team. I ended up starting the SG at the point because he was really all around better. Taking a quick glance at your team, you SR SG seems to have pretty decent BH and P skills to possibly run the point for you.

that is what I am doing at Hartwick, too. Especially with the big IQ difference, i think it is the way to go... if you screw up recruiting like i did and don't have a PG who is ready to go.
4/24/2008 8:23 AM
PG is prolly the most crucial spot for IQ....I try to have 3 PG's on the squad at all times so I'm never caught w/o a high IQ PG...

thanks for the late tip breum...lol, I knew I was going to have a tougher time this season then last but I think I got it worked out now, the 2 injuries to my front court really hurt, had a Center playing backup PG tonight good thing I won by 36.

Well, the bugs are on a little roll. After going 3-7 during non conference play - losing to the current #1, #4, #5, #6 and #10. We did beat the current #2 and #16. After dropping are first non-conference game, we have now won 8 in a row, raising our rpi to 55. Our SOS is now at 12. We did make a few changes to our game plan - if you can figure them out, then you can beat us in the NT.

Like the sun rising in the East and Setting in the West, the mighty bugs have risen from the Ashes and staked claim to the Little East. With 2 more wins almost virtually ***ured, the might men of W Conn State will once again lay their claim to a spot in the big dance. 9 consecutive division championships, about to be 10, 13 of the last 14, about to be 14 out of 15 division crowns. With a career conference winning % of 84.8% (or 13.5 wins a season) all the Bugs need to do is play a tough OOC schedule, win at least a couple of games, and you know they're going dancing.

Well after a rough season I end up in the west NT with teams like SUNYM, Hartwick,WConnS and thats just the upper half of the bracket, this road to the final four is going to be real rough, hope I can make it out of the first round.

the West is indeed brutal. I don't even like my first-round matchup. Not an easy game in the slate, and at least one potential rematch for me, which i always hate.

OK, so the the CT finals loss made it a little closer than I anticipated, but bugs still squeezed into the NT w/ a shot at doing some damage.G/l in the NT fellas. Chicago is on a drive for their 7th straight sweet 16 and 9 in the last 10 seasons. W/ our lone NT title about to dissapear off of wronoj's books next year, its time to start aiming for another title to replace that one. Sweet 16s are nice, but its final 4 or bust.
