Thanks hoggchief. You kept the peddle to the metal once you jumped out to the early lead. Chicago was in serious cruise control mode up until that game, and ya yanked it away from us. Congrats, Haven't checked around this world in a couple of days, g/l to the teams in the finals tonight, whomever they may be.

Gratz go out to norm24 at MMB for winning the NC game in the NT and to jplin for winning the PI. how is it I ended up playing both of you this season. BTW norm24 nice way to turn your team around from last season.

Hi _uniblab_. Congrats to norm24 on the title.

have to ***ume norm took the season off last year, going 8-20 with essentially the same players who won the NT this season. Should have the updated list out shortly.

Norm just observed first hand the difference between having a press team with so-so IQs (his 8-20 season) vs. having a press team with great IQs (this season). ATH and SPD won't help you win by themselves. As a member of his conf, we have had a few conversations about that topic throughout the last couple seasons. Nice of him to let me win one against him this year.

Congrats to Norm on winning the NT. Way to show how you guys play ball in the MIAA, it is a good conference that doesnt get as much respect as some of the other conferences. There are at least 5 coaches in that conference that can hang with anyone in DIII.

Eight new schools this season: John Jay, Muhlenberg, Macalester, Curry, Skidmore, Centenary, Roanoke College, Bethany. Congrats. In danger of falling out if they don't make next postseason are: Lycoming, E. Texas Baptist, Stillman, Dallas, Cabrini, Puget Sound, Muhlenberg, Plattsburgh St., Hood, Maranatha Baptist Bible, St. Norbert, Roanoke, Bethany, and Cazenovia. Possible entries next season, if they make the postseason: Amherst, Augustana, Daniel Webster, Drew, Greenville, Medaille, Palm Beach Atlantic, Rockford,St. Mary's of Maryland, Thiel, Transylvania, Washington, and Wheaton. Dropped out this season: Alvernia, Connecticut, and Wheaton. 45 teams this season, I believe a new record. Look for Chicago and Anderson to do battle for #1 again next season, with taz' NC coming off the books, then I predict NC Wesleyan will take the top spot the following season, as he has 2 dead seasons at the end of the list right now, and they should come off the books the next 2 seasons...

thanks for the quick update wronoj, I don't like to see my team in danger of falling out though but only way I see that happening is if I make the jump up, its either this season or next not sure yet
5/19/2008 10:13 AM
We're number 1, we're number 1. After seeing that note about Anderson's season 19 title falling off the books, Chicago quickly checks to find their lone title falls off the books next season. Better win us another one or we'll have a new #1 next year. thanks again for the list wronoj, always a joy to follow and watch.
